For your second question, the stranger who shows up, comes again and again with more notes. when phoebes mother mysteriously dispersal Sal has a gut feeling she wont be coming back like she said she would in a not she left. This scenario is all to similar to Sal's story and we believe that the strange man will play a very important role in this story.
